A post for my copywriters…

Such a great question.
Sometimes the good eggs, the ones willing to pay, and the ones with interesting, impactful projects…
…are hard to find.
So in an effort to work on the things you can control (cuz there’s always things we can’t!), there are three immediate things that come to mind.
Let’s jump in!

1. Get In Front of Other People’s Audiences
Imagine walking into a room full of people who are already interested in what you have to offer. Sounds like a dream, right? That’s essentially what you’re doing when you get in front of other people’s audiences. It’s a goldmine of opportunity because someone else has already done the hard work of gathering a group of engaged, interested individuals. Your job is to simply come in and provide value, making it a win-win situation for everyone involved. By getting in front of these audiences, you exponentially increase your chances of being seen by high-ticket clients.
How to do it…
How to capitalize on the opportunity…
Make sure you have a CTA so the audience can continue to follow up. If you don’t have a freebie yet, you can always give your IG handle or an email. And hey, maybe you want to sweeten the pot, and share a code or special promo while delivering your content “mention you found me through x podcast and you’ll receive y”
Then once you have more leads in front of you with the above strategy, it comes down to the next important thing…
2. Offer High-Ticket Services that align with Your Goals
Here’s the thing – if you’re still offering $100 blog posts or social media captions, you’re speaking to the wrong people. And while they may bring in a stream of work, it’s unlikely that it’ll attract the kind of clients who are willing to invest in high-value projects. These smaller services often require the same administrative effort as larger projects but yield far less revenue anyway (gross!)
So let’s shift gears to the brighter side – because not only do high-ticket items bring more revenue per project (meaning you can take on fewer projects), and not only do they position you as an expert…
…But clients willing to invest in high-ticket services are generally more committed, easier to work with, and value quality over cost. I tell you – my $10K client projects are dreamy to work with compared to my first client where I wrote a blog on chicken coops. Yes, chicken coops.
The equation here is simple – high-value services attract high-value clients.
How to do it…
This alone is one of the reasons I teach the high-paying skill of sales pages inside Sales Page Prep School which opens next month, you can hop on the interest list here.
In the meantime – study other sales pages! Study what makes you click and buy something. These are all skills you’re acquiring that you’ll be able to bring to your clients
3. Pitch a Dreamy Client
Often, it’s not about the trend. It’s not about the one single post that goes viral. And it’s definitely not about signing up for the latest social media software.
Instead, it’s about solving someone’s problem. In your case, it’s about writing damn good copy that blows their next launch out of the water. And sometimes, with the hustle of all the moving parts online, we forget to ask for the projects we want.
So why not write up a value-driven email (remember it’s about them, not you!) and send it over? Heck, maybe make it an audio, a visual, or a handwritten card if you can find a mailing address (sometimes at the bottom of their emails you can!)
And seriously, what’s the worst that can happen?
They don’t respond and you get more experience with sending pitches…?
They say no, but now know who you are…?
Sounds like it’s still worth it to me <3

Here’s what’s up…
Finding high-ticket clients isn’t about hunting for people with a “high-ticket client” nametag. There’s no such thing,
Instead, they are business owners just like you and me.
Sometimes they’ll need copy, and if you’re implementing the strategies outlined above, they’ll be seeking you out.
So, start showing up consistently, get in front of other audiences, and offer the services that will actually allow you to hit your revenue and freedom goals.
Your high-ticket clients are out there; and it’s about time they find you.
